Converting a Workbook from XLCubed V5

When a workbook that was created in XLCubed version 5 or lower is opened in XLCubed version 6 or higher, XLCubed will prompt you to convert it before you can use it. Note that a converted workbook is no longer accessible to version 5.

Conversion Menu Options

If the XLCubed > Options > XLCubed Options > Display Conversion Options option is selected, then XLCubed will show additional conversion options in its menu or ribbon, which can be found in XLCubed > Extras. These options are:

Convert V5 Workbook

Allows you to convert a single workbook to the version 6 format.

Batch Convert V5 Workbooks

Allows the selection of a folder to convert. The folder and file hierarchy within the folder is preserved in the destination folder.

Convert V5 Microcharts

Any Microchart formulae in the current workbook are convert in place into XLCubed In-Cell Charts.

Password-Protected Worksheets

When a workbook with one or more password protected sheets is loaded for conversion, XLCubed will prompt you to enter a password to allow it to proceed.
