When opening a workbook in a newer Excel version all formulae in the workbook will be recalculated.

This is not an XLCubed behaviour, it is something Excel does automatially and the add-in has no control over. It applies to all formulae, not just XLCubed formulae.

You may have to recalculate the workbook to get the values recalculated, Ctrl+Alt+F9 will usually resolve all the cells.

This recalculation only applies when opening a workbook saved in an older version of Excel. If users save the workbook in the upgraded Excel version then it will not recalculate next time it is opened.
