You can make your Anaplan model easier to browse in XLCubed by adding a module containing some extra data about the model. There are a few steps to do this, but they should be simple to follow.

  1. Export the Module info
    1. In the Modules screen click the export button

    2. Ensure the export type is set to csv and click "Run Export"

  2. Create the module list
    1. In the General lists screen click Insert

    2. Add a module called XL3ModuleNames
      AnaplanMetadata4.png
    3. Pick the new module and Open it to add data
      AnaplanMetadata5.png
    4. Press the Import button
      AnaplanMetadata6.png
    5. Pick the Modules.csv file you exported in stage 1

    6. Set the source column to Column 1 and click Run Import

  3. Create a new Module for the data
    1. Return to the Modules screen and click "Insert Module"
